What is Microneedling? Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure involving superficial, controlled puncture of the skin by miniature fine needles, stimulating collagen and elastin production.

Skin needling is a versatile treatment modality that can be safely performed any time of the year and on any skin type. It is particularly suited to those with darker skin such as Asian or Indian Skin types, patients with melasma and vitiligo and those who have suffered from post inflammatory pigmentation.

Skin needling can be done superficially, or on more intense settings. Your therapist will customise a treatment for you based on your skin condition and social downtime

At more gentle settings, microneedling useful in treating thin and barrier-impaired skin, such as the neck or sensitive skin and rosacea, where we use it in combination with biorevitalisation serums to improve skin integrity and “feed the fibroblasts” (the active skin cells that make skin proteins). This type of gentle treatment is suitable for women who are pregnant or breast feeding, as no topical local anaesthetic is required.

At deeper levels, micro needling provides holistic collagen induction - improving skin texture and glow, pore size, mild acne scarring and elasticity. We use a compounded topical local anaesthetic for deeper treatments.
