As a clinic, we have a shared belief that the quality of your skin is the most important aspect of beautiful skin as you age- you won’t age well, or look natural, if you focus on injectable treatment that freeze and fill.
We prioritises skin health first and foremost- encouraging our patients to develop a consistent medical grade home care routine, and to begin the skin journey with dermal therapy or injectable treatment that correct specific concerns and support long term collagen production. Our 3 Tiered Consultation Approach:
We offer 3 types of consultation, depending on your concerns, what type of treatments you want and the degree of informationand expertise you require from your clinician.
Clinical Photography, formal consent and quotation are performed prior to all treatments.
Please note that some treatment require skin preparation before they can be safely commenced, and that not all treatments are suitable for you- we make an effort to customise your treatments so you get the best results for your investment. Some patients may require a formal consultation with Dr Grant before they can be performed, we will let you know if this applies during your consultation.
Initial Dermal Therapy Consultation & Clinical Treatment
This is a 75 minute consultation and bespoke treatment with a Dermal Clinician to review your skin care concerns and prescribe an individualised home care program. This is suitable for new patients or patients that have not visited the clinic for some time and would like a new plan. This is also the entry point for patients wishing to embark on our 12 week Skin Programmes which address skin concerns such as redness, rosacea, acne, pigmentation or to manage signs of ageing skin such as lines & wrinkles or laxity
The cost of an Initial Dermal Therapy Consultation is $150, which is non refundable. This includes:
clinical photography and skin analysis
a consultation with a dermal clinician followed by an Introductory Skin Treatment such as a Peel & LED Healite
a customised written treatment plan for you to take home.
After consultation, we encourage new patients to enrol in a Skin Programme which runs for 12 weeks, and involves visiting the clinic 2x a month for 3 months. The cost of the Skin Programme is approximately $2000 which covers the cost of a customised full sized home care kit (RRP $500) and clinical treatments.
Initial Aesthetic Nurse Consultation & Treatment
This is a 60 minute aesthetic medical consult with Tanya, a dual qualified Dermal Clinician and Registered Nurse. Tanya has been in the beauty industry for 20 years, and offers customised multimodal treatments combining advanced peels, laser, IPL and cosmetic medical treatments. This consultation is suitable for patients wanting information and a management plan to address skin concerns such as redness, rosacea, pigmentation and specifically wanting information about medical treatments to manage signs of ageing skin such as lines & wrinkles and preventative age management.
The cost of an Initial Nurse Aesthetic Consultation is $150, which is non refundable and includes:
a consultation with an experience dual qualified Dermal Clinician and Cosmetic Nurse
an aesthetic medical treatment or Introductory Skin Treatment such as a Peel and LED Healite
a customised written treatment plan for you to take home.
a brief consultation contact with Dr Grant who will review your medical history and consent with you prior to any medical procedure to ensure the treatment is safe for you. This is repeated every 6 months.
The cost of your consultation may be redeemed on any treatment performed on the day, whether it be a medical or an Introductory Skin Treatment such as a Peel & LED Healite
Initial Medical Aesthetic Consultations
This involves a 60 minute consultation with Dr Grant and is suitable for patients wanting a thorough holistic assessment and the highest level of expertise.
Dr Grant is an experienced General Practitioner and Aesthetic Physician with a special interest in cosmetic medicine, lasers and the metabolic and hormonal aspects of skin health and ageing. Dr Grant’s passion in medicine is managing Perimenopause- a time when many women start to notice changes in their skin and hormones. This generally starts in the late 30s and 40s, and represents a unique period during which early interventions can prevent long term skin and chronic health challenges.
Expect a holistic consultation including assessment of your lifestyle, complexion, facial anatomy and metabolic & hormonal health. Dr Grant will then formulate a plan comprising a range of evidence based management options including diet, exercise, supplementation and medical grade home care to optimise your skin, hormones and general health as you age. Based on your concerns, Dr Grant will recommend a course of advanced dermatology and/or cosmetic medicine treatments to manage your skin concerns and keep you looking healthy as you age. She will also advise you on her favourite types of treatments that work to stimulate collagen production in your skin to improve laxity and skin quality, mapping your treatments over the next 6- 12 months so you know what to expect. Please let us know if you would like to consider a medical treatment after your consultation with Dr Grant and we will allocate time for this.
The cost of an Initial Aesthetic Medicine Consultation is $250, which is non- refundable and includes:
clinical photography
a 60 minute consultation with Dr Grant. A treatment can be planned on the day - if you would like this let us know.
a customised written treatment plan for you to take home
an LED Healite session and samples of our most loved Synergie Skin or Skin Better Science products, customised to your skin concerns and worth over $200
Please note: the cost of any aesthetic treatment is charged separately, Medicare rebates are not available for aesthetic or cosmetic concerns.
If Dr Grant addresses a medical issue, this will be billed separately to your Aesthetic Consultation, and a medicare rebate may be applied to this fee.
Skin Programmes & Thrive Society Memberships
Unlike beauty clinics, Thrive practices in the medical model- we prescribe and recommend a treatment plan based on specific concerns. We do not encourage drop in or casual visits, and advocate for you to be consistent with your home care and clinical treatments in order to get the best our of your investment.
We encourage new patients to invest in a our 12 week Skin Programmes for skin health (“Glow”), Congestion, Redness or Pigmentation. These programmes include a set of luxury, physician only medical grade Skin Care worth over $500, including a cleanser, active serums, serums and sun protection from premium brands such as Skin Better Science, Synergie Skin Practitioner range, and Airyday PLUS a series of 6 Clinical Treatments every 2 weeks for 12 weeks.
The cost of the Skin Programme is approximately $2000 which covers your home care and customised multimodal skin treatments. You can pay this upfront, or with an initial deposit and weekly installments from $125/week. W e can discuss this with you during your consultation.
We also offer a Signature Skin Membership, which involves a monthly laser facial and skin treatment focusing on collagen induction to promote a glowing complexion and improve your skin quality. The cost of this is $60 per week. Additional treatments such as regular injectable treatments can be added in.
