What is Ultraformer?

Ultraformer 3 is a medical grade High Frequency Ultrasound (HIFU) device that induces tightening, lifting and rejuvenation of the skin with no surgery, no needles and with no significant downtime.

It delivers focused, high frequency, ultrasound energy to the facial structures, including areas such as the jowls, jawline, double chin and neck - regions we have, to date, struggled to treat with non-surgical modalities.

Non-surgical lifting is created by heating and contracting the sheath of tissue that connects facial muscles and encloses the ligaments supporting facial compartments. This means we can improve sagging skin on the lower face without surgery. Some practitioners refer to the Ultraformer as the “Non-Surgical Facelift”.

The precision of the ultrasound beam and ability to treat multiple levels of the face sets the Ultraformer 3 apart as the ultimate natural, holistic skin rejuvenation treatment.

The best candidates for Ultraformer 3 are those with mild to moderate skin laxity, patients wishing to prevent ageing and those wanting a natural approach to maintaining beautiful skin.

That said, HIFU is not surgery. Our clinicians will carefully assess your concerns and discuss all the options with you, as some people may still want or benefit from surgery.

Booking

Consultation We use our own clinical protocols designed by Dr Grant. An initial consultation which includes facial assessment and an individualised treatment plan is essential for the best outcomes.

Treatment Plan Multiple initial treatments are required, generally 2 to 3. Results become obvious at 3 months and we recommend maintenance every 9-12 months.

Procedure Although the majority of clients find the procedure has minimal pain, treatment over bony areas can be uncomfortable. Some patients take 2 paracetamol prior to treatment. Treatment will take 15 - 90 minutes depending on the treatment area.

Downtime/Aftercare There is no significant downtime- the Ultraformer 3 really is a true “lunchtime” treatment.

Redness and mild swelling may develop in a minority of people and settles quickly. After your treatment it is common to experience mild discomfort which settles in a few days.
